Rubinstein: A Life By Harvey Sachs
(Mention of Miss Drew, her kiss with a young Rubinstein,
and her relationsiop with Morton Hartzell).

An interesting speculation that I have not been able to
confirm. As mentioned, Morton Hartzell married Bertha Drew.
He also attended Drew Theological Seminary, in the area in
which Bertha Drew lived. They both dated in Germany, and
were both the same age. It looks like Bertha Drew
might have been of the same Drew family that started Drew
Theological Seminary, and later expanded to Drew University.
It was Daniel Drew, a Methodist and railroad "tycoon",
that endowed Drew University with 250,000 in 1867 (originally
500,000, but economic failures cost Daniel plenty) to start
Drew Theological Seminary. Given his dates, 1797 to 1879, and
assuming they were realted, he would have had to be her grand-
father or great-grandfather, as she was born in 1876 (as was Rev. Hartzell).
